In this newsletter, we spotlight the critical message from ISHR Director Phil Lynch and Board Chair Vrinda Grover: 'human rights for everyone, everywhere, without double standards or discrimination!' as our North star amidst global crises. This edition underscores the vital role of civil society in advocating for the protection of women and girls in Afghanistan, human rights defenders in Cyprus, Egypt, Venezuela and Sudan, as well as those defending environmental justice. Additionally, we share the inspiring journey of young advocate Tala Odeh and commemorate Cao Shunli’s unsilenceable legacy. Last but not least, we highlight the 15 April deadline for submissions to the Secretary-General's report on intimidation and reprisals. Read on!
