Programme Manager, Business, Land and Environment (80% – 100% / Geneva)

We are seeking an outstanding candidate to join our dynamic team in a permanent staff position of Programme Manager (Business, Land and Environment). The Programme Manager will be an essential part of the ISHR Environmental Justice & Sustainability Cluster, and contribute to the successful implementation of ISHR’s activities to support human rights defenders (HRDs).

Africa Legal & Advocacy Officer (100% – Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire / other appropriate locations in Africa also considered)

The Africa Legal & Advocacy Officer will be based in ISHR’s office in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Under the supervision of the Africa Programme Manager, the Africa Legal and Advocacy Officer plays a key role in supporting ISHR’s work to strengthen legislative protection of human rights defenders in Africa as well as its advocacy at the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

HR Manager (80% – Geneva)

ISHR is looking for a HR Manager (80%)  based in Geneva. The HR Manager is responsible for human resource strategy, administration and development across the organisation (35 staff members across 8 countries, plus interns and fellows), developing and implementing efficient and reliable human resources policies and processes, and promoting and enabling a workplace environment in alignment with ISHR values.
