As ISHR is set to mark its 40th anniversary in 2024, this annual report is dedicated to Adrien-Claude Zoller, our founding director, a human rights defender and visionary.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the death in Chinese custody of woman human rights defender Cao Shunli, the report is also dedicated to all those defenders who have been the victims of deadly reprisals for their work to promote justice and accountability.
Together, we will never forget and never be silenced.
As we reflect on our journey, we always remember that our work is only possible thanks to the unwavering support and engagement of partners, allied activists, donors and individuals such as yourself.
